a few days ago i struggled to sleep and made my way to the bear discover page to relax and calm myself. i saw this post and ended up watching this 40-min talk about erlang and elixir. i thought it was really interesting and the talk really made me consider my 2025 goals for the year on learning/upskilling. but i've lost my focus before so i will not indulge any more than this log and dwell on the fact that i at least know a little bit about it for now.

i will try with html, css and js again this year. no more number of projects as a goal. or a specific type of project. for my own sanity, i'm just going to find ways for me to have fun. and maybe finish the 2 udemy courses.

worked on this in the last 2 days. it's a trivia game i finally got to fix when i started it on a whim last october for my gf. flutter? idk her. since the year is ending, the last few days will be a lot of overcompensation on my end.

ended up modifying a bear theme css today, then spent a good half hour debugging flutter and agp incompatibility. this thing happened for no reason.

updated flutter and android studio then set up flutterfire. started this thing i've been thinking about since earlier this year. idk if i'll get it done before 2025 but it's there now...
